Whether you’re an adult who would like to jump in the saddle for the first time, you would like to brush up on your riding skills or you’re just as mad about horses as the kids and would like to get involved in everything, there will be something at Murton to suit you! From riding lessons to hacks to beach rides to jumping lessons to day courses to social gatherings, Murton has a lot to offer the adult rider. So whether you’re a first timer, a happy hacker or a rosette chaser give us a call and we will help you to discover horse riding at a pace and level that suits you.

We know that riding as an adult can be daunting that's why we ensure you feel relaxed the moment you step through the door at Murton. Our friendly instructors aim to help riders to flourish by delivering lessons tailored to the rider's needs and our even friendlier horses can adapt to a range of abilities and riding styles. Our aim is to help you to discover riding and the magic of horses in a welcoming environment that makes you feel at ease. So why not make the most of it and arrive 15 minutes early, grab yourself a coffee, have a browse in our on site shop and take a stroll around the yard whilst we get your horse ready for you.

Latest Adult Events: 

Adult day course - Friday 16th March from 9.30 - 3pm £45. 
A chance to learn how to look after your own horse. You will learn how to muck out, groom, feed your horse.  You will also have a group riding lesson with other rider of a similar standard.  Don't forget your riding equipment, waterproofs, warm clothing and packed lunch. 

2HR HACK - Thursday 5th April 2012 at 10.30am. Experienced riders only due to stile jumps and cantering in open spaces.   Cost £50

New Starter sessions for Adults only on Sunday Afternoon at 2.30pm.  Perhaps you have never ridden before or are rusty and not ridden for a while come along and join in.  Cost £15 per head
